11.05.2012 | MAEGI UPDATES

I have been silent for over two months now. Don't think that I stood still and became lazy. On the contrary, a lot of things have happened! First of all, Maegi became a solid project. Actually, it became the biggest thing I have ever made, including Dreamtone & Iris Mavraki's Neverland projects =). I have worked on inviting my guests, recording demos for the album and writing the lyrics etc.

So far, the album artwork and band logo are complete. I won't be announcing my guest artists and the artwork / album title until mid summer for PR reasons. I don't want the album to grow old fast.

All I can tell is that the tracks will visit several places in Europe and USA =).

Until that time, I have opened a Facebook group as well. Please be kind and join my crowd at www.facebook.com/maegimusic . Maegi is very important for me and I hope you will like what you hear, especially if you are into power-prog metal =).

01.03.2012 | MAEGI - NEW BAND

For quite some time now, I was thinking about creating a new prog-power band of my own. Recently, that idea became a reality and I have started working on song ideas, album themes and such.

Ladies and gents, I hereby present you "Maegi", a power-progressive metal band. I don't know if Maegi will be a touring band or will simply be a studio project. But the current flow of things point towards some of the best metal stuff I have written in years. Therefore, I am quite excited. In the upcoming weeks, I will share more information, like Maegi's logo (my good friend Ali Yucel Ozdemir is creating an awesome logo for me at the moment), cover artists, guests, album theme and tracklist and so forth.

I am expecting to release the album around late 2012, possibly November - December period.

Here is a track from the R.A.T.S. project. As I have stated in my earlier posts, I am almost done with the work and will move on to another upcoming project after a brief rest. More information about that will come soon.
